This website is operated by The Pantry (The Pantry, “we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing products or using this website, the purchaser (the “customer”, “you”, “your”), agrees to the following terms and conditions of sale (the “terms”). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use its services.

The provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply to all purchases, and these terms shall be read subject to the application of that legislation.

Limitation of Liability

The Pantry shall not be liable to the customer for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the purchase, use or performance of products or services from The Pantry.

No guarantee is given that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free.
Without notice to you we may remove the service for indefinite periods or cancel the service at any time.

Use of this service is at your sole risk, and all products and services delivered to you through the service are provided “as is” and “as available” for your use without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, quality or fitness for a particular purpose.

In no case shall The Pantry, or the directors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind.

In no case shall The Pantry’s maximum liability exceed the cost of the relevant original order.

Payment

The Pantry only accepts payment through this website via valid debit or credit cards. Transactions from countries other than New Zealand are not accepted. All transactions are carried out using a third-party payment gateway – Stripe. For further information regarding how Stripe encrypts and processes payments, please visit www.stripe.com.

Products

While we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products, we cannot guarantee these will be displayed accurately on your computer, All descriptions of products and prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

The quality of any products, services, information or any other material purchased by you will not be warranted by us to meet your expectations, or that any errors in the service will be corrected.

Pricing and Content Errors

Prices for our products are likely to change without notice. We will always do our best to ensure that the prices and other content are accurate, however errors may occur from time to time. Where a pricing error occurs, we will not be bound by the incorrectly stated price. We reserve the right to rectify the error and charge the rectified price or cancel your order.

Return and Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and give us the opportunity to put things right.

Our returns policy gives you 30 calendar days to return or exchange an item.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the items must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The items must also be in the original packaging.

In order to complete your return or refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If your goods are damaged or lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days. Leave the goods in the damaged packaging to help us with any claim.

Being sent the wrong goods can be annoying. If this has happened, contact us immediately and we will replace it with the correct item at no cost to you. Should we want the incorrect product back, we will arrange for the item to be returned at our cost.

If you order and pay for an item that is subsequently determined to be out of stock, we will contact you and offer a full refund, or an alternative product of comparable price, or putting a hold on the order until stock becomes available – it’s your choice!

When your returned item is received, we will notify you by email, and begin the refund process. A credit will be applied to the account from which the payment was originally made, using the original payment method, within 14 days. If you paid for return delivery of the item, this cost will also be refunded.

Cancelling Orders

We reserve the right to cancel any order you place with us. Quantities purchased per person, per household or per order may be limited or cancelled at our sole discretion. Orders or purchase agreements may be cancelled for any reason after order confirmation regardless of whether payment has been made, including where The Pantry believes the order to be fraudulent or a misuse of promotional or marketing activity. In the case of cancellation, The Pantry accepts no liability for any resultant damages or costs suffered by you.

Delivery

While we make every effort to ensure delivery timeframes are accurate, we cannot guarantee that orders will be delivered within any given timeframe. By placing an order with us, you agree not to hold The Pantry liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated timeframe.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions Policy

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions periodically. This will take the form of placing an amended version of the policy on this website. Please review it frequently. When the Terms and Conditions Policy is changed, your ongoing use of this website constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

Allergens and Product Nutritional Information

While we make every effort to ensure no product cross contamination occurs, it is important to note that our products are packaged in a facility that also handles nuts and seeds.
